A recent article in one of Britain’s most reputable newspapers, The Times, is a prominent example of an ongoing shift in the view of alien life. The paper writes that a former Bank of England analyst urges the bank to prepare for an official confirmation that we are not alone in the universe.

Within the span of two weeks, British flagship newspaper The Times has published two major UFO/UAP pieces:
- On Jan. 3, the paper disclosed information from secret files saying that the British Ministry of Defense had ordered officers to search for UFO technology.
- On Jan. 16, it ran an article with the headline: Bank of England must plan for financial crisis sparked by aliens.
The call in the headline comes from Helen McCaw, a former senior analyst at the UK central bank. McCaw, who worked as an analyst in financial security at the Bank of England for 10 years until 2012, wrote to bank governor Andrew Bailey, urging him to plan for the possibility that the White House will confirm extraterrestrial life.
Such an announcement is likely to provoke “psychological responses with material consequences” and may send shockwaves through the markets, which could lead to bank collapses and civil unrest “in a matter of hours,” according to McCaw.
Politicians and bankers can no longer afford to dismiss talk of alien life, she claimed.
“If banks start failing, the payment system will collapse, and you’ll have rioting on the streets because people can’t fill their cars up with fuel or buy food in the supermarket,” she said.
McCaw had little interest in the topic until she stumbled upon a peer-reviewed NASA report a few years ago and realized governments were studying UAPs.
In the article, the reporter Marc Horne references recent revelations by high-ranking U.S. officials that they have information indicating that UAP are real. In UAP documentary “The Age of Disclosure,” 34 government insiders, including U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, attest to extraterrestrial life and vehicles.
“The United States government appears to be partway through a multi-year process to declassify and disclose information on the existence of a technologically advanced non-human intelligence responsible for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs)”, McCaw told The Times.
McCaw accepts that her claims may be ridiculed.
“A lot of friends just think it’s absolutely crazy,” she said. “Sadly, there’s just no point in talking to them about it because they won’t even look at the information that’s out there.”
McCaw has also written a chapter on the topic in a forthcoming book, “The Last Humans: UFOs & National Security“, edited by professor Alexander Wendt, a political scientist at Ohio State University.
For UAP/UFO and ET enthusiasts, ancient civilization explorers and the noetic community, the existence of such beings is accepted. Mainstream media is increasingly covering these and post-material topics.
