Details of childrens’ vivid NDEs revealed

Children in intensive care can have vivid Near-Death Experiences (NDE), preliminary findings from a UK case study shows. The range of experiences include Out-of-Body (OOB) experiences and bedside visions.

“Childrens’ Near-Death Experiences are simple and carry transcendental features such as a peaceful darkness, a knowing awareness and time alterations”, the two researchers write in the highlight section of their article.

Seven children and families participated in the pilot study. The median age of the children was 12 years old.
